# TripGrader

> TripGrader is the UK's honest review and grading platform for school trips, residentials and educational workshops — built for teachers, by teachers, with a focus on Wales. Trips are graded A–D based on real, moderated teacher reviews.

TripGrader helps teachers and school trip coordinators discover, compare and review school trip providers across Wales and the wider UK. Each trip carries a transparent A–D grade derived from verified teacher reviews covering categories such as educational value, organisation, safety, value for money and pupil enjoyment.

## Audience
UK primary and secondary school teachers, heads of year, trip coordinators and educational visit coordinators (EVCs), with a strong focus on schools in Wales (including Welsh-medium schools).

## Grading system
- Grade A — Excellent, highly recommended.
- Grade B — Very good, would book again.
- Grade C — Average, room for improvement.
- Grade D — Poor, would not recommend.
Grades are an average of A–D ratings (mapped to 4–1) across multiple review categories, displayed with +/- granularity (e.g. B+, A−).
